Serving San Diego County at multiple locations, we help restore the lives of people experiencing homelessness, abuse, poverty or addiction through faith-based emergency services, residential rehabilitation programs, children’s services, hunger relief efforts and community outreach.

You make this ministry possible! Your support fuels our outreach, changing the state of homelessness in San Diego one life at a time!

Vision

To see God transform the lives of those experiencing homelessness, impacting San Diego one life at a time.

Mission

To lovingly address the needs of men, women and children experiencing homelessness by sharing the Good News of Salvation and providing a holistic approach to rehabilitation and recovery.

OUR PRESIDENT

Meet Donnie Dee

Hello.
What’s your first thought when you see someone living on the streets? Do you assume they have a drug or alcohol problem, mental health issue or maybe they just don’t want to work?

These were some of my thoughts before I became President/CEO of the San Diego Rescue Mission. We can change the state of homelessness in San Diego County but first we have to change the way we think about those experiencing homelessness.

Jesus tells us in Mark 12:30-31 to “love God and love our neighbors.” The next time you see someone living on the streets, let’s see them as our neighbor. I challenge you to say “hello,” share your name and tell them about the Rescue Mission.

Let’s show our neighbors that we care.
