Retail Clerk, Retail Operations, PT, Non-Exempt.
Receives and displays merchandise, totals sales, and accepts payment from customers. Supports Team Leader in different areas.
Minimum high school diploma. Minimum 6 months sales experience, preferably in a retail establishment. Previous experience with the homeless, substance abusers, mentally ill and/or dually diagnosed preferred. Nonprofit experience preferred. Lift minimum 20-30 pounds. Must work weekends and/or holidays. Bilingual preferred. Willingness to learn how to price store merchandise correctly and recognize quality merchandise, i.e., collectibles antiques, name brand clothing, vintage clothing, antique furniture, and bric-a-brac. Good customer service skills. Follow store procedures. Work under fast-paced conditions.
Residential Manager, Nueva Vida Haven, PT, Non-Exempt.
Oversees Nueva Vida Haven and its residents to ensure stability and continuity of program as well as adherence to rules and safety.
Minimum high school diploma. Associate’s degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology, Ministry or related field from an accredited institution. Minimum 2 years full-time work experience with the homeless, substance abusers, mentally ill and/or dually diagnosed. Nonprofit experience preferred. Must work evenings, overnights, weekends and/or holidays.
