San Diego Rescue Mission is a non-profit homeless shelter and recovery center serving thousands of homeless, hungry, and poor men, women, and children in San Diego since 1955.

Graduation

One of our most beloved events happens every three months at the San Diego Rescue Mission. Our next graduation ceremony is scheduled for Friday, July 12th, 2013.

That’s when the men and women who have successfully completed their 12-month residential recovery programs are recognized in a special graduation ceremony. The event celebrates the accomplishments each graduate has made, with God’s help, during their year-long journey. Current program participants also attend to honor their brothers and sisters and to be inspired by the possibilities that await them. Learn more here…

Community Holiday Meals

Three times each year, the San Diego Rescue Mission opens its doors to the homeless, poor, and lonely men, women and children in the San Diego community to celebrate the holidays. Held at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, our special community holiday meal events offer hundreds of home-cooked meals and entertainment for those who might otherwise have no food, companionship, or celebration during the holidays.

More information can be found on our holiday events page.
