One of our most beloved events happens twice a year at the San Diego Rescue Mission.
Our next graduation ceremonies are scheduled for Friday, April 13, 2018 and Friday, October 19, 2018.
That’s when the men and women who have successfully completed their 12-month residential recovery programs are recognized in a special graduation ceremony. The event celebrates the accomplishments each graduate has made, with God’s help, during their year-long journey. Current program participants also attend to honor their brothers and sisters and to be inspired by the possibilities that await them.
As part of the ceremony one male and one female graduate each shares their story of recovery. A local Christian band or church choir provides entertainment for the day and, of course, all graduates receive an official diploma.

Join us on March 24, 2018 for our special Easter holiday meal.
This is one of three times in the year when San Diego Rescue Mission opens its doors to the homeless community to celebrate the holidays. Gather to enjoy home-cooked meals, entertainment, and to celebrate in the festivities!
Be a part of the largest youth movement in San Diego at Sleepless 2018. Service opportunities across the community, followed by live music, performances, activities and a sleep-out under the stars. Make a difference in the lives of homeless families and become the change-maker you were meant to be!
On October 13 and 14, hundreds of San Diegans will come out with their family and friends to make a difference in their city and to celebrate the impact that each of us can make.
