Dear Friends of San Diego Rescue Mission,
Due to the 100% chance of rain, our scheduled outdoor Grand Opening Celebration on Friday, May 15 has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 20. We know the much needed rain is an answer to many prayers in San Diego, but we are concerned for the safety of all our donors, guests and clients. Please mark your calendar and plan to join us June 20 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m!
Please know that we could not offer all the programs and support to the homeless and hurting men, women and children without your on-going generosity. On behalf of all those we serve, Thank you & God Bless!
Thank you to Realty411 for choosing to support San Diego Rescue Mission at their upcoming La Jolla Real Estate Investors, Finance and Tech Expo. In lieu of admission, Realty411 will ask attendees to make a donation to the Mission!

One of our most beloved events happens every three months at the San Diego Rescue Mission.
Our next graduation ceremony is scheduled for Friday, July 10, 2015.
That’s when the men and women who have successfully completed their 12-month residential recovery programs are recognized in a special graduation ceremony. The event celebrates the accomplishments each graduate has made, with God’s help, during their year-long journey. Current program participants also attend to honor their brothers and sisters and to be inspired by the possibilities that await them.
As part of the ceremony one male and one female graduate each shares their story of recovery. A local Christian band or church choir provides entertainment for the day and, of course, all graduates receive an official diploma.

Three times each year, the San Diego Rescue Mission opens its doors to the homeless, poor, and lonely men, women and children in the San Diego community to celebrate the holidays. Held at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, our special community holiday meal events offer hundreds of home-cooked meals and entertainment for those who might otherwise have no food, companionship, or celebration during the holidays.
More information can be found on our holiday events page.
Due to the generosity of many volunteers who have already registered, servers are not needed, but we would appreciate help with outreach from 8:30-11 AM. To volunteer at an upcoming holiday meal, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 619-819-1897.
Interested in a tour of the Mission? Monthly tours are offered on the 2nd Monday of the month at 6PM and the 2nd Thursday of the month at 12:00 noon. Come spend 45 minutes or so and find out more about the Mission and our programs. Spaces are limited and you must reserve a space with Debbie. Call (619) 819-1897 or email email@example.com.
