Graduation... You're Invited!



Every three months, the men and women at the San Diego Rescue Mission who complete their 12-month residential recovery programs successfully are recognized in a special graduation ceremony. These events are special occasions to celebrate the accomplishments and milestones each graduate has made with God's help during the course of their year here.

All current program members attend the ceremony to support their graduating brother and sister program members. These clients are inspired themselves by witnessing how God has worked to change the lives of their peers.

During the ceremony:

One male and one female graduate representing each long-term program share their story of recovery with guests and encourage fellow classmates to stay on the right path.
A special keynote speaker offers a traditional inspirational address
A local Christian band or church choir provides entertainment
All graduates receive an official diploma recognizing their accomplishments
