 PLAYGROUND CONSTRUCTION UPDATE!
Dear Friends,
Take a look at our latest pictures! The playground is getting closer and closer to a reality! We had the equipment installed this month and our moms and children are getting very excited!
Here is what is left to complete:
Right now we are in the process of getting bids on fencing to complete the perimeter of the playground.
Once that is installed, City officials will come by to give us final approval for the playground to open.
Most of the materials for our Eagle Scout to build our wooden benches and planters have arrived. He will be coming within the next few weeks to assemble them.
We are researching how best to provide shade for our moms and children…either through umbrellas or sunshades which are proving much more costly.
Again, our playground has taken a long time to complete but, as you can see, we are nearing the finish line.
