ROTARY DAY OF ACTION TO BENEFIT SAN DIEGO RESCUE MISSION
35 Members of Downtown Rotary to Volunteer in Emergency Shelter for Women and Children, Will Also Help Landscape Rescue Mission Receiving Center and Streamline Operations


WHAT:
The San Diego Rescue Mission will welcome 35 volunteers from the Downtown Rotary Club, as part of a regional day of action involving thousands of Rotarians from San Diego and Imperial counties and Baja California. Five prominent member-businesswomen will help admit and feed women and children entering the Rescue Mission's Emergency Shelter. Thirty (30) members will be on-site at the Rescue Mission's Receiving Center to beautify the landscaping surrounding the site - five of those volunteers will examine retail operations and make recommendations on increasing productivity and efficiency.
