SAN DIEGO RESCUE MISSION TO BENEFIT FROM RESTAURANT'S ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Rescue Mission and homeless people it serves are benefiting from the anniversary celebration at Dussini Mediterranean Bistro.

The upscale restaurant, located in the heart of San Diego's historic Gaslamp district, is celebrating its first year of operation December 4-7, and a portion of the sales from the four-day event are being donated to the Rescue Mission. All guests will receive a complimentary glass of champagne or dessert with the purchase of an entrée, and will be able to enter a drawing for a Dussini dinner for eight.

"Our first year in the Gaslamp has been incredible. Supporting The San Diego Rescue Mission and the life-changing work they do is our way of saying 'thank you' to the community for making us a success," said Carrie Richards, Dussini's general manager.

"Support from community-minded businesses like Dussini makes our work possible," said Herb Johnson, CEO of the Rescue Mission. "Dussini is clearly interested in developing a long-term relationship with the people of San Diego, and we appreciate their generosity."

The San Diego Rescue Mission does not accept tax money or funding from the government and is dependent on donations from individuals and corporations for its programs to help the homeless. Individuals who wish to make donations or volunteer with the Rescue Mission should call 1-866-SD-MISSION or visit www.sdrescue.org.
