Fashion’s Brightest Moments:
Fashion Show Benefitting the San Diego Rescue Mission

WHAT: Fashion and philanthropy will unite at Fashion’s Brightest Moments, a sizzling runway show at the Westgate Hotel to benefit the San Diego Rescue Mission. Chaired and produced by Fashion Forward’s Leonard Simpson, with Honorary Chair Sally B. Thornton and Channel 10’s Kimberly Hunt as the MC, the event will bring together 130 local celebrities, philanthropists, and fashion’s hottest trends to support the life-saving programs that the San Diego Rescue Mission provides to the homeless of San Diego. The event will also feature boutique vendors, a silent auction, and gourmet lunch. Tickets are $95 and seating is limited. WHO: The San Diego Rescue Mission is one of the largest comprehensive rehabilitation centers for the homeless in California. Focusing on long-term treatment, SDRM houses hundreds of men, women, and children and provides shelter, food, counseling, treatment, and work therapy. The Mission serves over 3,000 individuals and prepares over half a million meals annually. The San Diego Rescue Mission is the only major homeless shelter in San Diego that does not receive government funding for its long term rehabilitation programs, and is nationally recognized for its successful programs.
