San Diego Rescue Mission is a non-profit homeless shelter and recovery center serving thousands of homeless, hungry, and poor men, women, and children in San Diego since 1955.

Education / Awareness

While most of our services are provided directly to those who need them most, we also believe it is critical to turn our attention outside of the San Diego Rescue Mission and partner with the general public.

Our education/awareness programs create new levels of understanding about the issue of homelessness in San Diego County and how we help change lives. They give us the opportunity to work with churches, organizations and the general public for presentations and ongoing dialogue.

Our services provide both information about the issues, and the inspiration to act toward solutions.
