San Diego Rescue Mission is a non-profit homeless shelter and recovery center serving thousands of homeless, hungry, and poor men, women, and children in San Diego since 1955.

Residential Recovery Programs

Those who take part in our residential recovery programs know their path to a healthier life will not be easy.

Our programs require a 12-month commitment to addressing the many issues that have created the person’s homeless crisis. In addition to basic services such as the housing and food we provide, our residential programs include mental health and substance abuse therapy, educational classes, vocational training, bible study and the constant determination needed to create a healthier, stable existence.

The year ends with a special graduation event to celebrate the accomplishments of those who complete the program, where we proudly look ahead with them to a life worth living, and a new connection to Jesus Christ.
