Living at the San Diego Rescue Mission our guests are provided three meals per day. In order for children to achieve healthy development, having a balanced nutritional diet is key. Providing healthy food choices will allow our children to regulate their moods, increase attention spans, become more physically active and improve their overall quality of life. We are looking for non-perishable snack food items to allow our children healthy development and growth. Along with healthy snacking options, our infants and toddlers living in our emergency shelter and in our residential programs are in constant need of formula.

While the teens at the San Diego Rescue Mission are experiencing a variety of challenges, we want to do our best to elevate the challenge of feeling and looking your best! One way to encourage healthy growth in our teens is setting them up for success. When our teens have the ability to shop in our Children’s Market and pick out clothing that speaks to their individual styles, their confidence soars. Having clothing options allows our teens to have a positive self-image, increases their self-confidence and prepares them for social interactions.

During special occasions in their lives, we want to prepare them as much as possible. These occasions include, but aren’t limited to, prom, school dances, internships, job interviews, SDRM graduation ceremonies, school graduation ceremonies and holidays such as; Easter and Christmas. The following are clothing items that would help us along our journey in supporting our teens through this transitional period in their lives.
