Charitable Gift Annuities

Among the many excellent life-income gift options, the Charitable Gift Annuity is the most straightforward.

Simple Agreements

A short, written agreement between you and our partner, the San Diego Foundation (they issue gift annuities on our behalf) guides the payment of lifetime income and assures the gift portion for San Diego Rescue Mission.

Minimum Gift Sizes

A minimum gift of $25,000 provides for a lifetime of excellent service and income for friends of the San Diego Rescue Mission.

Dependable Income for Life

Annuity payments are guaranteed, and careful compliance with appropriate state regulations is maintained.

Payment Flexibility and Lower Tax on Income

Illustrations for one or two life annuities can be provided on your request…and quarterly, semi-annual or annual payments can be arranged. Often, income payments include non-taxable return of principal. And when an annuity is funded with appreciated assets, another part of the payment qualifies for lower capital gains tax rates.
