To prepare for the opening of the Oceanside Navigation Center, Bread of Life is now closed.
For 20 years, Bread of Life has served Oceanside by meeting tangible, short-term needs for food, clothing and resource navigation and providing a welcoming, loving community for those in need of hope and compassion.
Now, we are partnering with the City of Oceanside to open a permanent 30-day shelter for men, women and families experiencing homelessness in the community.
The new location will be called the San Diego Rescue Mission Oceanside Navigation Center and is currently being remodeled. The opening is anticipated by Summer of 2023.
Located at the former Ocean Shores High School, the new Oceanside Navigation Center will offer 50 safe beds, plus nourishing meals, hot showers and case management for our neighbors in need of short-term, transitional shelter.
Thank you for loving your neighbors in North County!
Your continued donations will help fund the Navigation Center, which will be operated without government funding.
Stay tuned for the launch of the new facility!
