What can you expect?

Our San Diego Rescue Mission tour at our 120 Elm Street location provides a terrific overview of our programs.

The tour visits multiple floors and areas including our Children’s Resource Center, Navigation Center Shelter, and Mission Academy program communal spaces and men’s and women’s living areas. We discuss our many programs and ways to get involved.

There are occasional opportunities to interact with Rescue Mission staff, students in our year-long program, and Shelter guests. We utilize an elevator for most areas, however there are stairs on our premises. Tours can be modified to account for special needs.

How long is the tour?

Tours typically last from 30 minutes to one hour. We can arrange a time frame that works best for visitors.

Are there pre-scheduled times or should someone call to arrange a tour?

Call to arrange a tour time, Monday through Friday from 9AM-4PM. Occasional Saturday tours are available.

Are there group tours? Is there a limit to how many people can be in a group?

We typically give tours in groups of approximately 5, however, we can accommodate larger groups with multiple guides when needed.
