Wills are significant, but there is no legal requirement that a Will be created by a lawyer. However, estate planning is a complex process, and your attorney will make sure that your wishes are carried out.

Myth

Everyone Needs a Living Trust.

Everyone’s goals are different. The best way to determine if a Trust is necessary for your situation is to consult with an attorney.

Myth

The state will get my assets.

If you pass away without a Will, each state will apply its “laws of intestacy” to determine who is entitled to the assets from your estate under the rules of inheritance.

Writing a Will is a wonderful opportunity to create a legacy for your loved ones and support the causes you care about.
