We serve men, women and families experiencing homelessness in our emergency shelters. No drug testing required. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Pets are allowed. Identity and citizenship status will need to be verified.

30-Day Emergency Shelter (Lighthouse)

These referral-only emergency shelters provide a safe place to sleep as well as access to personalized case management and on-site support services. We serve men, women, and families experiencing homelessness. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times. Pets allowed (max 2 per guest). Identity verification required.

The San Diego Rescue Mission partners with 2-1-1 and local Homeless Outreach Teams to refer individuals and families into our care. Please contact our SDRM outreach team at (619) 819-1842 or contact the Homeless Outreach Team via 2-1-1 to learn about support resources you may qualify for. Or learn more now at 211sandiego.org.

Mission Academy is a strictly sober living facility serving men and women ages 18 and older, as well as single parents with up to four household members (children ages 2–17). Eligibility is limited to those referred to us through one of our emergency lighthouse shelters.

For those needing extended support, our 12-month rehabilitation program offers faith-based, holistic recovery for men, women, and single parents experiencing homelessness. We provide the tools, training and spiritual foundation needed to transform lives.
