30-Day Emergency Shelter (Lighthouse)
These referral-only emergency shelters provide a safe place to sleep as well as access to personalized case management and on-site support services. We serve men, women, and families experiencing homelessness. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times. Pets allowed (max 2 per guest). Identity verification required.
Offering:
- 30-day emergency shelter
- Weekly case management and on-site rehabilitation services
- Identification, Social Security and insurance support
- Showers, laundry, clothing, toiletries, nutritious meals
- Completely free of charge! There are no program costs or fees

The San Diego Rescue Mission partners with 2-1-1 and local Homeless Outreach Teams to refer individuals and families into our care. Mission Academy is a strictly sober living facility serving men and women ages 18 and older, as well as single parents with up to four household members (children ages 2–17). Eligibility is limited to those referred to us through one of our emergency lighthouse shelters.

(Mission Academy)
For those needing extended support, our 12-month rehabilitation program offers faith-based, holistic recovery for men, women, and single parents experiencing homelessness. We provide the tools, training and spiritual foundation needed to transform lives.
Offering:
- 12-month, sober living residential facility
- Three trimesters focused on key areas: Wellness, Education & Training, Employment & Housing
- Weekly specialized case management and rehabilitation services
- On-site therapeutic services, drug and alcohol counseling
- Completely free of charge! There are no program costs or fees
