Join the Movement in North County.
Help us change the state of homelessness countywide.
As we watch the encampments in our neighborhoods grow, the sad reality is that homelessness in San Diego has become a humanitarian crisis. And, North County has not been spared.
To help get people off the streets, we are partnering with the City of Oceanside to open the city’s first-ever, permanent 30-day shelter for men, women and families experiencing homelessness.
The new location will be called the San Diego Rescue Mission Oceanside Navigation Center and is currently under remodel. The opening is anticipated by Summer of 2023.
Located at the former Ocean Shores High School, the Navigation Center will offer 50 safe beds, plus nourishing meals, and hot showers for our neighbors in need of short-term, transitional shelter.
Guests will also receive weekly case management sessions to identify their next step toward long-term rehabilitation and stable housing.
