Your Impact

in the lives of people experiencing homelessness in San Diego

There are over 10,000 people in San Diego
who are homeless.

78% of them say they became homeless right here in our county. We have the fifth-largest homeless population in the country. Homelessness can be caused by many factors, including:

Thankfully, even when things are at their worst, our hurting neighbors can always turn to the San Diego Rescue Mission. The kindness of people like you keeps our doors open, ready to welcome people in with nutritious meals, safe shelter, job training, faith-based counseling and other guidance to help restore lives.

Your Giving Changes
Hearts & Lives

Because of you, local men, women and children who were once homeless and hurting are filled with HOPE.

Just look at how Ty has new life today, thanks to the loving care he received at the Rescue Mission.
