Spiritual Training
Based on Matthew 28:18-20, our Spiritual Training Program for the Men, Women and Children who reside at the San Diego Rescue Mission, provides the opportunity to encounter God through training and discipleship.
Based on Matthew 28:18-20, our Spiritual Training Program for the Men, Women and Children who reside at the San Diego Rescue Mission, provides the opportunity to encounter God through training and discipleship:
1) Discipleship / Mentorship Program which includes: 1 on 1 Bible study, Fellowship, Church Retreats, Special Events
2) Client & Staff Morning Devotions: Monday – Friday our own staff share a 15-20 minute devotional. As both staff and clients grow in their relationship with God, they are given the opportunity to share a Biblically driven devotion or testimony with all program staff and residents. These devotions are empowering our residents each day to overcome addictions, lifelong challenges, and deficiencies.
3) Chapel Service: Chapel Services are held every Sunday and Wednesday evenings by our Church Partners and Volunteers all over the county. Our hope is that when our residents graduate, that they will continue their relationship with God alongside our Church Partners, so that they can have a support group and family of friends that helps them remain accountable, responsible, and forever learning and growing with God.
