Standing Strong For Our Homeless

YOU are standing strong for our homeless during Covid-19!

During this unprecedented time, organizations and businesses all over the world are experiencing financial hardship, program cuts, and staff layoffs.

People experiencing homelessness in our community are at higher risk for contracting Covid-19 and are in desperate need of meals, shelter, and essential care. Thankfully, we’ve seen God’s provision through the faithful support of donors like YOU. Needs are met, restoration is happening, staff is working diligently, and no covid cases have hit the Rescue Mission.

As we continue to address homelessness in San Diego, let’s PAUSE for a minute to recognize God’s goodness and YOUR IMPACT during this critical time.

Since the sweep of Covid-19 in March, your crucial support has produced:

  • Zero staff layoffs
  • 85,000 meals provided each week throughout San Diego County through Partners for Hunger Relief program
  • Zero Covid Cases at the Mission
  • 786 Blankets Distributed through our Church Partners
  • $30,805.05 raised on Giving Tuesday Now

We want to sincerely thank you, our faithful partners, for the financial support and prayer. Your kindness is making a BIG difference.

PLEASE send us your prayer requests! We are praying for YOU. Your prayers have carried us through this time and we want to carry you in prayer too. Submit a prayer request here!

We’re in this together.

For His Glory,
Rescue Mission Staff

“I thank God for sending me here. I needed this more than you can even imagine. You all go through hell to get to work everyday just to be able to help us get better, not because you have to, but because you want to. I won’t ever forget that.” – Adam, Mission Academy Student
